Ludovic Pouzelgues, head chef at the Michelin-starred LuluRouget, had always dreamt of opening a second restaurant paying tribute to traditional French cuisine – and that’s what he’s done here! In a setting that blends the atmosphere of grand Parisian brasseries with contemporary touches (very high ceilings, a mix of untreated wood, gold, red and waxed concrete), this restaurant serves a cuisine that is part traditional French home-style cooking, part high-end bistro fare. Dishes are as copious as they are meticulously prepared, including sweetbreads and an already legendary pepper steak. Superb wine list, with efficient yet friendly service.
