This newcomer to rue Fouré – quickly becoming a hub of Nantes’ culinary scene – offers guests Latin American cuisine without resorting to the usual clichés. At the helm is a chef who presided over the kitchens of the French embassy in Bogota and his Columbian wife, who attends to customers. Every dish is alive with freshness and flavours (unique, fantastic seasonings) and, everyday, they reinvent ceviche (fish marinated in lemon or lime), served with a little soup and homemade cornbread. At night, the dinner menu is a little longer. Don’t miss out!
Ceviche of black sea bream, cucumber gaspacho, kumquat, tomato confit
Tiradito of wild bass, celery, apple, mustard greens
Roast pineapple, coconut dacquoise, piña colada sorbet
