Le Rouge Ardoise

In a less-than-glamorous part of town, this bistro is carving out a solid reputation for itself with its seasonal and delicately spicy cuisine, where you can feast on a pan of chicken oysters and gnocchi in a Noilly Prat emulsion; a filet of bass, carrot purée ginger, cilantro beurre blanc, and a lemon meringue dessert to die for! The young clientele also tend to appreciate the warehouse-like decor (e.g., barrel against the wall), the relaxed atmosphere, the friendly service, and the adorable little garden patio.
