An authentic, friendly working-class restaurant next to several construction sites, in the heart of a neighbourhood undergoing a great transformation: l’Île de Nantes. The selection of fresh starters (sea snails, shredded carrots, beets, œufs mayonnaise, charcuteries, etc.), the simplicity and generosity of the homemade dishes – moules marinières au bleu (mussels in white wine with blue cheese), andouillettes (tripe sausage) in mustard sauce and fresh-cut fries – the relaxed atmosphere, the chef and owner who is friendly and always available, and finally the modest prices, all compensate for the straightforward, functional decor.
