A cuisine de terroir (regional cuisine) that is very satisfying and attracts a great number of food-lovers to this elegant restaurant on the banks of the Sèvre River, with its view of the écluse (canal locks) and the Chaussée-des-moines. You will want to take your time while perusing the reliable menu, filled with classiv dishes: filet of pike-perch au beurre blanc, eel from Lake Saint-Philbert-de-Grand-Lieu prepared with parsley and garlic, filet of beef in wild morel mushroom sauce. The same goes for the lovely wine list (also by the glass) extolling the virtues of Loire and Muscadet wines.
