Domaine du Petit Plessis
In good weather, aesthetes meet in this little 18th century manor and its enchanting park. You will have a hard time choosing between the slickly designed restaurant and its traditional dishes with a modern twist (sea bass carpaccio with sesame and ginger, filet of roast lamb in a parmesan and basil crust, etc.) and the Plancha du Petit Plessis, where one can choose among the rustic salads, grilled meats or the menus panier (“basket menus” – for a picnic) where you can eat to your heart’s content in this idyllic setting.
Examples of main courses:
Roulade (stuffed roll) of grilled yellow courgette and goat’s cheese.
Suprême de poulet jaune from Ancenis (local free-range farm) in a terragon crust.
Dôme caramel on Breton shortcrust, crème salidou (salt-butter caramel) and Carambar tuile.
