There is a lot of regional savoir-faire in this seaside villa near Parc de la Gaudinière. The Loire Valley cuisine, highlighted here at a decent price, is far more convincing than the decor, using every tone of grey imaginable. Ideal for family gatherings or for large parties of friends. Pickerel au beurre blanc, escargots, poêlée d’anguilles (pan-fried eel), cuisses de grenouilles (frog’s legs). Big patio. Service can sometimes feel like it’s on autopilot.
